1. About these Terms
These Terms are the agreement between you and Maureen Schlachter, trading as Your Design, Your World ("we", "us", "our"), for your use of Still Water Oracle at stillwater.yourdesignyourworld.com (the "App").
By joining, signing in or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. What Still Water is, and isn't
Still Water Oracle offers oracle and tarot cards created by Maureen Schlachter, readings shaped by the Human Design and Gene Keys chart worked out from the birth details you give, a private journal, learning quizzes, guided meditations and a hypnotic relaxation recording called Reset.
Still Water is for personal reflection, inspiration and education. Card readings are an invitation to reflect, not predictions or instructions. You decide what a card means for you, and you remain responsible for your own choices.
Still Water is not therapy, counselling, medical care or a crisis service. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not give medical, psychological, legal, financial or tax advice. Nothing in it replaces advice from a qualified professional.
Meditations and Reset. Only listen somewhere you can safely relax. Never listen while driving, operating machinery or doing anything that needs your full attention. If you have epilepsy, a psychiatric condition or any health concern, check with your doctor before using hypnotic or deep relaxation recordings.
If you are in crisis or in danger, stop using the App and contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country straight away.
3. Who can use Still Water
You must be 18 or older to use the App.
- One person per account. Your membership is for you alone. Please don't share your account, sign-in links or access code.
- Accurate details. Give a real email address you can receive mail at, so sign-in links and important notices reach you.
- Keep your sign-in safe. Anyone with access to your email or your access code can open your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it, and we will issue a new code.
We may refuse or close an account that breaks these rules.
4. Membership and payments
Membership starts with a 7-day free trial. After that it costs US$9 a month or US$90 a year, whichever you chose when you joined, and renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
- Payment. Payments are taken by PayPal, by PayPal balance or by debit or credit card. We never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal's own terms apply to the payment.
- When you're charged. Nothing is charged during your 7-day free trial. Your first payment is taken when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. After that, PayPal charges you on the same date each month or each year.
- Currency and fees. Prices are in US dollars. Your bank or PayPal may add currency conversion or other fees, which are outside our control.
- Failed payments. If a payment doesn't go through, PayPal will try again. If it still fails, your access pauses until the payment is made or your membership ends.
- Price changes. We will email you at least 30 days before any price change. The new price applies from your next payment after that date. If you don't want to pay it, you can cancel before then.
- Invited members. Members we have invited for free, such as VIP members of our community, aren't charged unless we agree otherwise with them in writing.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time. If you cancel during your free trial, you won't be charged at all. Otherwise you keep access until the end of the month or year you've paid for.
- How to cancel. In the App, open Settings and choose Cancel membership. You can also cancel in your PayPal account under automatic payments, or email us and we will do it for you.
- What happens next. No further payments are taken. Your chart, saved readings and journal stay in your account, so you can pick up where you left off if you rejoin. To remove them completely, choose Delete my account and data in Settings.
- Deleting your account also cancels your membership straight away. Access ends at once and your data is permanently removed.
- Refunds. Payments already taken aren't refunded automatically, including for part of a month or year. If something has gone wrong, for example the App hasn't worked properly for you or you were charged by mistake, you can ask for a refund.
- How to ask. Email hi@maureenschlachter.com with the email you joined with, the payment date, and what happened. We look at each request on its own merits and reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are paid back through PayPal to the way you paid.
- Your legal rights. Nothing here affects any right you have under consumer protection law, including any right to cancel within a cooling-off period.
6. Acceptable use
When using the App, please don't:
- use it for anything illegal, harmful or abusive, or to harass or harm anyone
- share your account, or resell or give others access to Still Water
- use bots, scripts or other automated tools to access the App or copy its content
- try to break, overload or get around the App's security, limits or safeguards
- copy, download or republish the card art, guidebook text, recordings or other content in bulk
- enter other people's private information without their permission
7. Your content and privacy
What you write in your journal stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the App for you, so your readings, journal and quiz scores are kept for you.
- Privacy. How we collect, store and protect your information, and which providers help run the App, is set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not read your journal unless you ask us to help with a support issue, or the law or someone's safety requires it.
- Your journal. Your saved readings and entries are in your Journal whenever you're signed in. Deleting an entry, or your account, removes it permanently.
8. Our content and intellectual property
The App, the Still Water Oracle name, the card decks with their artwork and text, the meditations and recordings, the Your Design, Your World name and logo, and Maureen Schlachter's teachings belong to Maureen Schlachter or are used with permission.
Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the App while your membership is active. It doesn't give you any ownership of the App or its content. Please don't copy, resell or republish the App's materials.
Human Design and Gene Keys are bodies of work created by others. We use their language to describe your chart, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by their originators.
9. Changes, availability and ending your account
We work to keep Still Water available, but we can't promise the App will always be available or free of errors.
- Changes to the App. We may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something central to your membership, we will tell you and you may cancel, with a refund for any unused paid time.
- Interruptions. The App may be unavailable at times for maintenance, or because of problems with the services it relies on (such as hosting or payments).
- Suspension. We may pause or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts others at risk or misuses the App. Where it is safe and reasonable, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right.
- If we close the App. We will give members at least 30 days' notice by email, stop all future payments, and give you time to save anything from your journal.
10. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The App is offered for personal reflection, inspiration and education. It is provided "as is", without promises about any particular result.
- We are not responsible for decisions you make or actions you take based on a card, a reading or anything else in the App. That includes decisions about your health, relationships, money or business.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or lost data, as far as the law allows.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence or fraud, or your rights under consumer protection law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer rights your own country's law gives you.
- Disagreements. Please email us first. We will try to resolve any concern fairly and quickly before either of us takes it further.
- Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For important changes, we will email you at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the App after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't, you can cancel.
